🚨 A silent crisis in diabetes care 🚨

Nearly half of patients with a diabetic foot ulcer lose a limb and many don’t survive beyond 5 years after amputation.

Dr. Alyson Myers’ 5-year study of 700 patients reveals what’s driving these outcomes, from lack of daily foot checks to implicit bias in care, and how a team-based, tech-powered approach can save lives.

From multidisciplinary clinics to smart mats that detect infections early, prevention starts before the wound worsens.

🦶 Rule 1: Check every patient’s feet at every visit.

🎥 Watch the full interview to learn how to protect your patients from devastating outcomes.

Time to increase access to quality preventive diabetic foot care ! 80% of these diabetic foot complications are preventable. 3 to 4 times more prevalent amongst Black, Brown, Latino and Native American populations. Racism is a major public health problem in the U.S..The health care industry is cashing in on treating the preventable complications of chronic diseases . Great business model right ? Let's be part of the change we want to see. Grassroots one person at a time. Thank God for servant leaders like Dr. Alyson K. Myers. A voice of reason and clarity. It's not rocket science !
