TFCC (Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex) injuries are a common concern for goalkeepers due to the repetitive stress and potential for impact injuries during diving and catching. These injuries, which affect’s the ulnar aspect of the wrist, can cause pain, clicking, and instability, potentially impacting a goalkeeper's ability to perform. Dry needling can be one of the modes of treatment for chronic Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex (TFCC) injuries, particularly for pain management and improving range of motion. It is often used alongside Exercise therapy and bracing. Dry needling aims to reduce muscle tension and pain in the wrist and forearm area, which in turn aids to accelerate the rehab process.
