“When you have a dream, you’ve got to grab onto it and never let go.” Ever since 8th grade, I did exactly that. Throughout my life, I witnessed the people I love navigate life with mental health issues and struggle to find the un stigmatized care they need.

Obtaining my Bachelors in Psychology has opened up doors I never thought I’d walk through, and given me the tools to grow into the driven and successful young person I am now.

-Psi Chi International Honor Society Member (Spring ‘25)
-Speaker at the Center for Diversity and Gender Studies (Fall 2024 Conference)
-Vasquez De Lara Supreme Scholars Scholarship Recipient (Fall ‘22)
-San Antonio Education Partnership Scholarship Recipient (‘21-‘23)

Yesterday, August 2nd, 2025, I was able to be recognized for all the accomplishments listed above and walk the stage with pride. Thank you to God and everyone else who has supported me along this journey. I genuinely could not be more grateful. And congrats to me! 🎓
