After being benched by my father’s death this Winter, I’m coming out of hibernation tomorrow, Sun. July 13th, from 5-7pm, when @puddle_dock_festival organizer, @bruunstudios, graciously invited me to use my latest project to create a space for respite, conversation and enjoyment ofJenny Jordan’s music outside the closing reception for Keith Plummer’s exhibition at Puddle Dock Village School behind Alna’s Post Office. I dreamed up this idea a year ago when I found the @elfontheshelf costume for Hazyl. Seeing it finally come to life was SO much fun!! 🎄❤️ It turned out even better than I imagined! So grateful for everyone who goes along with my crazy ideas and helps make them happen! 😂 I mean, we all know I love Christmas… maybe just a little too much! 🤶🏼🎅🏼 Pretty sure the trick-or-treaters loved it too!! 🎃🎄

We spend so much time tracking where our ad money goes. But how often do we check where people actually land after clicking an ad? This week, I looked at hundreds of live ads in one category to understand exactly that. Some ads were sending people to the brand’s own website. Others were sending them directly to marketplaces or app download pages. And I think this is something brands need to pay more attention to. When someone buys from your website, you have a better chance of building a direct relationship with them and getting them to buy again. But when someone buys through a marketplace, a lot of that customer relationship stays with the marketplace. I’m not saying one is better than the other. Both can make sense depending on your business. But you should know where you’re sending people and why. Here’s something you can try today. Open your ad account and check the actual links behind your last 20 live ads. How many send people to your website? How many send them somewhere else? You might discover that your biggest landing page problem isn’t a poorly designed page. It’s that people aren’t reaching your website in the first place.
Please share so we can reach the Ben Gurion Secueity team and work to make sure this doesn’t happen to any other disabled travelers (or any travelers who make accidentalll mistakes while in the confusion and chaos of travel) Sometimes being disabled is just painful The full story There are MANY more details to this story, because it happened over many many minutes of being repeatedly berated in front of people, while my disability benefit was COMPELTLY ignored ( the point is not to have to wait and I waited while two full lines of people entered and exited) I repeatedly apologized and asked for someone else, because I felt if she had a witness she would stop the cycle of attacking me, me apologizing, and nothing moving I asked to just go back and start over the line and she said “dont move!!!” So I just waited there Towards the end when no one came and she refused to let me actually move on, I took a video of myself crying (NOT of her I would not take a video of someone else without their consent) She flopped out and made@me show her the video (of myself) she said “you filmed men!!” I said no I didn’t She freaked out at that , which k kind of understand because I had her on video screaming at me while I cried, and it sucks to be held accountable but I had tried EVERY desecalating and pacifying choice, and I wanted SOME documentation so I could get them more training for folks with disability I finally just begged “please I just want to go through, I’ve apologized so many times” and she said she could not because I was crying I ommoedatly steeled myself and just shut it down and did what I had to do. I answered her questions. I nodded one time so I wouldn’t cry and she said “ANSWER ME!!” It was truly a humiliation ritual and one I wish on no one My goal is to: make the millions of Israelis who are disabled like me, even those with I visible disabilities like PTSD, feel seen, because I KNOW this is not her first time doing this My goal is also to reach the Ben Gurion airport security so there is some additional training provided.
