One of the hardest moments as a parent is receiving a call from your child that their friend has passed away. It’s a pain that shakes you—because while it’s not your loss directly, you feel it through your child’s heart.
Even if they didn’t spend every day together recently, the bond, the memories, and the love don’t fade. Loss doesn’t ask for timelines—it just arrives, and it hurts.
