Here is a close-up of the embroidery patch I made for Lilah’s special birthday shirt. The design is a combination of her drawings. I really wanted her to be able to wear her own art somehow. The red fabric is from an old T-shirt that I accidentally ripped. The light blue denim fabric is from my first pair of jeans that I bought from forever 21 in high school. The leopard print fabric is from the bottom of a skirt that my friend Lyndsey gave me. The white fabric is from when I tried to bleach a pair of pants for the first time and ended up melting them. I like that my hoarding came to good use. I should do an art closet tour one day. I also would like to invest in a bigger embroidery ring for larger projects.
