Happy Halloween! 🎃🩸 What better way to wrap up spooky season than with a return to one of horror’s most iconic stories? For our final digital cover of the month, we’re stepping into the world of #Carrie with Alison Thornton (@ali.g.thornton), who takes on the role of Chris Hargensen in Mike Flanagan’s series adaptation of Stephen King’s iconic debut novel. Reimagining a character previously portrayed by Nancy Allen in the beloved 1976 film, Alison brings a fresh perspective to one of Carrie White’s most notorious bullies. With the new adaptation expanding the story across eight episodes, Thornton explores the troubled teenager behind Chris’s cruelty, finding the humanity in a character audiences love to hate. “So much of what Chris does comes from her home life and her lack of emotional support, and a lot of the conversations with Mike [Flanagan] were just about humanizing her and making sure that she doesn’t just come from a place of cruelty for the sake of cruelty. A lot of her bullying Carrie has nothing to do with Carrie. It all has to do with Chris and what she’s going through, and her lack of healthy coping mechanisms.” Read the full cover feature at Popternative.com. Link in bio. Comment “BODY” and find out your mobility score 👇 You sit all day, and your body quietly stops moving like it was designed to.You don’t notice until the day you can’t get off the floor without pushing up with your hands. This stiffness is what years of sitting does to your body. Here are the 3 tests that show you where you actually stand: 🔴 Deep squat: shows whether your ankles and hips still have the range to sit at the bottom 🔴 Forward fold: shows how much your hamstrings and lower back have locked up 🔴 Dead hang: shows the grip and shoulder strength that quietly fades with age Save this and test yourself today. And if you want to find out exactly where your body needs the most work 👇 Comment “BODY” below and i’ll send you the link.
