Gentleman Coat Style. Coat Season Is Coming

I promised that the next post would be about coats, so I have to keep my word. I have only worn a coat once so far, but the time has come. I took them all out and I am ready to wear them.

Honestly, nothing has changed. As I have said before, a good coat is your mood for the whole winter, and I am still sure of that. That is why I have already added one beautiful coat to my wardrobe, and I am working on another one: I am having it made for myself and I will definitely tell you about it.

And yes, a client recently asked me if his first coat could be grey. If you want a grey one, of course you can. But I would definitely not choose grey as my first coat.

So, set aside a budget for a good coat, do not pick grey first, and pay attention to the cut. That matters too.

Be honest, is your coat ready for the season?

Olukemi Olufunto Adegoke not only erases her own history, now she is rewriting ours.

Our huge history in slavery, colonialism, has already been lwhitewashed or erased, denied or buried. It has taken huge work and a long walk to get black historical accounts added to the record and taught in state schools, and only then during black history month. (Not in private schools)

And. Now this.

Her view on reparations is equally sickening. We have been paying reparations to slave OWNERS, the equivalent of £billions to slave owners since 1833, only finally paying off that debt in 2015, taxpayers money paid that debt. And she won’t even offer an apology to the families of those enslaved, slaughtered, and destroyed?! Aghast.
