'The Squonk' is a composition by Simone Spagnolo inspired by the squonk itself, a mythical creature from Pennsylvania's lumber-woods.

Beautifully described by Jorge Luis Borges in his 'Book of Imaginary Beings', the squonk is known to be perpetually sad and often weeping. Its tears are said to be so copious that they form a tear-stained trail, and its unique ability is to dissolve into tears.
