In my early days at IT Cosmetics, I heard advice that changed how I hire forever - and it came rushing back in this powerful convo with @joshandbrent of @beekman1802 :
👉 The one type of employee who rarely works out is the one with a victim mentality.
The one who always blames others.
The one who has an excuse for everything.
The one who never says, “Here’s how I took responsibility.”
It’s not about being perfect - it’s about ownership. And that’s what real leadership looks like, at every level of a company.

Changing the mindset from "Life happens to me", to "Life happens for me", even better: "through me"... victim mentality is severely hard to get around in a classroom environment too!
