about a week ago, we presented the final construction documents and renderings for the First Samoan Congregational Christian Church's remodel and expansion in Wittmann, Arizona. the almost three-hour meeting yielded overwhelmingly positive feedback.

following a prior architect's misunderstanding of the congregation's vision, we were chosen to collaborate with the Samoan community to chart a new course. @archi_jake and I immersed ourselves in Samoan culture, incorporating the iconic 𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙚 architectural form.

it was so special + beautiful to hear the Polynesian hymns and see younger members of the community getting behind the project. we're honored to partner with Toafa o le Talalelei (EFKAS) in creating a new home for this humble and compassionate community!
