Please forgive me that my fb posts are coming out late: as my cancer progresses new symptoms appear; the most recent being vision loss in my left eye. It comes and goes making it very difficult to form thoughts
My daughter Chavah Israel’s birthday just passed and instead of celebrating in the warm tropical Hawaiian sun, my daughter flew her family up here so she could sit bedside while I had my drain surgically placed.
Instead of all of us gathering for her and singing her happy birthday , she rubbed my back and held a barf bag under me while i threw up more times than i could count.
But this is nothing new; chavah has been so much more than my daughter, my best friend, my confidant, my coworker.. she’s my everything!!
She’s the reason why I laugh so hard my stomach hurts or I pee my pants,
The reason why I can be so sad pick up the phone and instantly feel comfort.
Chavah, if I’ve ever failed to show you just how much you mean to me, let it not be now , you are my everything and I love you so much! Happy Belated and thank you for being the best daughter I could have ever dreamed of ❤️❤️mommy always loves you .. until the end of time
