This is why you at least ask before the event, so you talk about it and get it out so once the music starts all those problems no longer exist and the only thing left to think about is having the best night of your life or just don’t bring it up in general if that’s their thing.

Just let them dance and vibe, don't ask anything until the week after the festival. After they're done venting, since this is Hard Summer and Outside Lands weeks, after that, take them to Nocturnal Wonderland. The venting plus Nocturnal puts them in the right mindset

My wife cheated on me like 7 days after edc which was our 1 yewar wedding anniversary where my dog died while we were in Vegas. Going to edc again 2 years later. How do I not be like this and bum my friends out
