Looking for graphic novels your 5–8-year-old won’t want to put down? These are some of my kid-tested FAVORITES! ❤️

As a former school librarian and mom, I’ve seen firsthand how the right graphic novel can turn a hesitant reader into a kid who can’t wait to pick up another book.

With their colorful illustrations, laugh-out-loud humor, and engaging stories, graphic novels are such a wonderful way to build reading confidence and help kids discover the joy of reading.

Whether your child is just starting to read independently, loves funny books, or can’t get enough of graphic novels, these are some of my go-to recommendations!

And remember, graphic novels ARE real reading! 🙌
