So, there’s this cashier at the Carrefour near my place — we always exchange a few words, some smiles, you know… friendly vibes.

One day we randomly bump into each other on the street, we start chatting, and I think: “Alright, time to shoot my shot.” So I ask for her Instagram. She smiles, grabs my phone, finds her profile, hands it back, we say goodbye.

The next day, I go to message her… and she’s gone. Unfollowed, disappeared, like a ghost. Never found her again.
