One of my all time favourite runways has to be Alexander McQueen’s Fall 2011 collection, pure f*ckin futuristic artistic, fantasy. The craftsmanship was insane, structured silhouettes, razor sharp tailoring and opulent textures that felt almost alien. It was haunting, powerful, and so far ahead of its time that it still looks cutting edge over a decade later. Some of the most iconic pieces even made it onto the big screen in The Hunger Games (My favourite movie series) worn by Effie Trinket and Katniss Everdeen, cementing their place in fashion history. This collection wasn’t just fashion it was armour, theatre, and rebellion stitched into every seam.
