Dozens of Android apps are recruiting unsuspecting people as money mules, which Chinese scammers are using to create an illegal payment gateway to collect and distribute black money. One app, WeTrack, moved 166 crores in just one year using over 20,000 mule accounts across the world, from India to Brazil, Pakistan to Nigeria. This is digital money laundering on a large scale.
