🎶 Real-World Music Industry Experiences! 🎶
One of the most exciting parts of our @leeumusic B.S. in Music Business program is the required internship — giving our students hands-on experience, real connections, and unforgettable moments that often launch their careers!
This summer, 6 of our Music Business majors had incredible opportunities across Nashville, Tennessee and Franklin, Tennessee. Here’s a quick peek into their experiences:
* Jared Anderson – From scrubbing a euphonium, to a photo-op with the brass technician, to wearing ear protection while using a loud ultrasonic machine at Bandwagon Music & Repair 🎺 🛠️ 🔊
* Jeffrey Boyd – Observing a guitar solo recording session (not pictured: his Nike kicks 👟) at Randy Poole’s studio 🎸
* Will Duncan – Tuning vocals in Melodyne for a project being mixed by Garth Justice 🎙️
* Garrett Miller – Observing an intense day of mixing at Randy Poole’s studio 🎚️
* Joah Moree – Checking out the channel audio effects on a Pro Tools session at Garth Justice’s studio 🎛️ 🎧
* Austin Petitt – Attending a Reba McEntire tour rehearsal with Garth Justice, her drummer 🤩 🎤
👏 Huge shout-out to these students for diving into the industry with passion and professionalism. This is what #MusicWithPurpose looks like!
