VOLTERRA WEEK 14 (🇮🇹): Goodbye Volterra! 🤍
This is my last Volterra post. For now!
In my study abroad application that I submitted back in September, I wrote that I wanted to say “yes” to “experiences that both excite and scare me.” A few months later, I was welcomed into Volterra: a wonderful city where I was changed for the better. I was taught so much about Italian culture, made new friends, ate delicious food, saw sights that amazed me, and made memories that will truly last a lifetime.
I was so excited to be in Volterra! I was also insanely scared. However, overcoming that fear taught me so much about myself, the world around me, and allowed me to immerse myself in an experience I will never forget.
I am so grateful and lucky for this experience. I am so happy I said “yes.”
