Moving to the Netherlands is exciting but let’s be honest, Dutch can feel impossible 😭
I’m still learning and trying to (we all in this together)

The good news? There so many FREE ways to learn and improve the language 🤩

Here’s a full list of free Dutch classes, language cafés, and online learning resources perfect for expats, students, and newcomers in the Netherlands & Rotterdam that I would recommend 👇

✅ Municipal & Library Courses (Gemeente) – Many cities offer free integration courses through local municipalities and libraries.
✅ Oefenen.nl – Free online platform for practising Dutch at beginner & intermediate levels.
✅ LearnDutch.org – Free video lessons by Bart de Pau; perfect for A0–B1 learners.
✅ Duolingo & FutureLearn – Great for self-study at your own pace.
✅ Taal voor het Leven – Nationwide initiative helping adults improve Dutch and digital skills.
