This took ages to put together but it’s finally done! I wanted to try out a little concept comic hook for Threadbound to get a better feel on the art direction and vibes. This technically won’t be in the comic itself, but it covers the main murder mystery premise of the first chapter. This is the first mention of Patch, which is where the story takes place, and I’ve spent a long time fleshing it out. It’s a tight-knit small town stuck in a decaying 1950s aesthetic due to its declining economy. Despite that, the residents are very warm and welcoming. Everyone-knows-everyone kind of feel. I had a lot of fun coming up with the environments, and there’s a lot more in my drafts for specific locations that’ll appear in the comic - might get around to sharing those at some point.
Oop! Mel and Tesehki went back and forth after Mel agreed with Lauren’s post calling Tesehki a hypocrite! Mel demanded a one-on-one, while Tesehki mocked their fighting skills and questioned why she would be scared. 😳 - Mel fired back, questioning why Tesehki didn’t get out of a white truck to face her! What do y’all make of their exchange? 👀🍿 - 💬 : @baddiespositivity_
Spooky season

🌼 Marriage itself is a life risk for women. But besides that, childbirth is an undeniable life risk for women. Women go through it multiple times. Plus living with your abuser and being financially dependent on your abuser and an entire system that works against you to keep you dependent & authority less. 👉 But no one thought someone should fast for a woman’s long life? May be the one who benefits the most from your life? But never. Because Women made it Women REPLACEABLE. Men made women replaceable. Society made women replaceable. And WE HAVE TO CHANGE THAT GIRLS… . . . . #womeninspiringwomen #feminism #strongwomen #womensupportingwomen #nabysinha [karwachauth, women lives, women in religion, women in culture, women against patriarchy, patriarchal culture, women speakers, feminism, feminist voices, abusive culture, misogyny, sexist culture, women voices, feminist voices]
