🤍 Video Game Reel 🤍
This is a scary video for me to post… When I was in the UK I visited @aktaphotography to record my video game reel.
I have some people to thank. I couldn’t have done this without them.
🤍@voicereelguy, my voice acting coach. I had my very first coaching session with Darren back in September 2024 right at the beginning of my VA journey. It was just a one off session as I couldn’t make private coaching work for my student budget at the time. But he was so encouraging and said some very kind words that made me feel like I could actually do this. So to prepare for my reel I came back to Darren for coaching. He’s a great teacher and helped me through ups and downs, helped me bring my characters to life and was just the best cheerleader. Thank you for all your support!
🤍@stranxy, the person behind the scripts you hear in my reel. He went above and beyond to write a variety of characters perfect for me, taking into consideration what games I love and that have been important to me while making sure I’d get to show off a range of emotions and characters. It only took us two meetings to get scripts I was happy with and could start working on! And even when I told him I only needed 5 he went on to write me like 8… 😆 Thank you!
🤍@richardreedactor, for coaching and some fairy dust ✨ He’s an amazing friend and been such a big supporter of everything I do despite not knowing me for long. The one coaching session we did was so helpful, I brought notes and bits from that hour with me to the recording session. Thank you!
🤍@sarahnightingalevoices, for coaching. I’ve been taking their VA workouts since January, so getting some coaching to prepare was a must. They helped me see parts I was feeling stuck on in a new light and gave very needed words of encouragement as the brain goblins were creeping in the closer my recording date was getting. Thank you!
🤍@ashleyvoices for the graphics for my reel. I still can’t get over how pretty my banner is also, I’m so happy. Thank you!
🤍 All my friends! You have my biggest thanks for supporting me on my journey. You’re very right to call me insane sometimes, but still you cheer me. Love you all for that ❤️

Such a great variation!! I've only gotten coaching once during a callback and it was so fun- It's so cool watching you progress and following this passion :)
