SportsGirl of the Year ❤️

Alhamdulillah…
I honestly don’t even know how to put into words what I’m feeling right now. My heart is so full. 🥹❤️

My little Moza. My girl who has never once allowed her circumstances to define what she can or cannot do.

I’ve watched you grow, watched you struggle, watched you push yourself even on days when things weren’t easy. The early mornings, the long hours in the pool, the sacrifices, the tears and everything in between. I’ve seen it all, sayang.

And today, watching you receive SPORTSGIRL OF THE YEAR, I just couldn’t be prouder. 😭❤️

But you know what makes Mommy the proudest? It’s not the medals, the trophies or the titles. It’s your heart. Your courage. Your determination. And the way you continue to show the world that nothing is impossible when you put your heart into something.

If only you could see yourself through Mommy’s eyes, you’d understand just how extraordinary you are.

You have taught me so much more about strength and resilience than you will ever know.

Alhamdulillah Ya Allah. For every blessing, every opportunity and every beautiful moment like this.

Keep chasing your dreams, sayang. Mommy will always be right here, cheering the loudest for you.

I love you beyond words. ❤️🏆 @mozabaihakki

This wasn't on our plans for the week... but life has a way of sometimes suddenly bringing you to your knees and reminding you what really matters. ❤️

Here is a small update for GoodLuck fans: The last few days have been a bit of a rollercoaster for us. On Sunday I noticed something strange about Ben’s eye - it was super puffy so we thought maybe allergies & gave him an antihistamine. Then, yesterday he noticed one pupil was much smaller than the other. He’d had a small headache the day before, but otherwise felt completely fine. Thankfully we decided to get it checked out.

After a full day (in a very busy) emergency room & a few scans later and we’ve discovered an abnormality in one of the main arteries supplying blood to his brain, with doctors suspecting a small tear in the artery wall. He’s now in hospital being monitored while they work out the best way forward.

Thankfully there’s no sign of a stroke and he’s feeling good, but wow... what an unexpected wake-up call.

I think we’ve been running at a million miles an hour for so long that we’ve almost forgotten how to slow down. Between the music, the shows, the festivals and being parents, life has been FULL. Beautifully full, but full nonetheless.

And suddenly, none of the deadlines or to-do lists seem quite so important.🙏

We’re feeling incredibly grateful that we caught this early, and it’s been a big reminder to slow down a little, be present and hold each other a little bit closer.

We might need to take our foot off the gas for a moment while Ben recovers, but we’ll keep you posted. Sending love to you all, and a little reminder to look after yourselves and each other. ❤️

Running blades are fun. 😃 And.. dressing up when you have prosthetic legs is always fun!

I pulled this from the Halloween archives from before my leg injury. By the way, I can’t wait until I get my leg fitting good enough to be able to wear these again. ❤️

Happy Halloween weekend everyone!🧡🎃🧡
