Too many of us mistake admiration for love.
They’ll say, “You’re so strong.”
“You’re amazing for putting up with so much.”
“You have the kindest heart.”
And yet… they never show up for you the way you show up for them.
Real love is not watching you carry the weight alone and applauding your strength.
Real love is picking up the other side of the load.
It’s meeting you in the middle.
It’s saying, “You’ve carried enough, let me hold you for a while.”
