Channel 4 has confirmed that Married at First Sight UK will not be returning. The decision follows an independent investigation after two former contestants alleged they were r*ped by their on-screen partners during filming. A third woman also accused her TV husband of sexual misconduct. The show, which first aired in 2015, matches single people with strangers they agree to marry. An external review found that although the show could continue with changes, its format could cause contestants to lose touch with reality due to limited outside contact. It also raised concerns that certain aspects of the programme could place pressure on participants to become intimate. #TSB #TSBNEWS

ask most people where techno comes from and they’ll tell you berlin. techno is called techno because of juan atkins. a black man from michigan who put out a record called “techno music” in 1988. who took a phrase out of a 1980 book about what happens to a society after industry, and named a whole genre with it. who started his own label in 1985 so he owned his own masters, at a time when almost nobody who looked like him did. he died on friday. he was 64 years old. rest in peace to a legend. you have heard his work even if you have never heard his name. so these are his flowers. rest in peace juan atkins. the genre has your name on it, forever and always. #juanatkins #techno #detroittechno #hiddenhistory #blackmusichistory
