8 months agoNot QM textbook. My approach. Electron spin = Local Chirality of Constraint Closure More precisely: Spin is the minimal two-state orientation available to a stable, irreducible correlation knot under SU(2)-like symmetry.
9 months agoOk. You need crystallography, not physics. If bone is analogous to hydroxylapatite, the there is a channel parallel to the c axis where the OH groups lie in a line. Space constraints mean that they can't be too close, so they end up OHOHOH through the structure. The OH is a dipole, so a magnetic charge can be frozen in. A series of papers by Hitmi showed how it can be flipped at higher temperature.
9 months agoOkay you are my favourite. You are so smart❤️ Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and your book!
10 months agothe relativity part reminded me of how different places in the world have different gravity. Would this affect bone relatively?
10 months agoI think that it has to do with the characteristics of it as a material. Its characteristics say iron in bone for instance creates dipoles like electricity. I see electricity as a fluid and can use those equations and the iron does a similar thing due to its properties.
10 months agoI love the way you struggle to understand something before you go on. That’s natural. The problem is that physics isn’t taught by question and answer, and everything is taught through lectures and books, and i suppose only few CERN physicists understand such notions both from experience and in theory, and you must be lucky to meet them. Go on like this.
10 months agoI’m about to start reading Dr Gerald Pollacks, ‘Cells, Gels and the Engines of Life’ - having been thoroughly mind-blown by some of the ramifications of his work researching Water’s molecular architecture and its interaction with hydrophilic surfaces in cell biology and function, particularly for creating an electric potential that influences ionic exchange.
10 months agoI luv your brain. One of the things I love is that it's not mine.. hugs. I hope sleep is forthcoming. ❤️🎄🥂🎁😎
10 months agoIt is just an intrinsic property of the particle. We do not know why this is the case. We just see is T as an experimental fact that particles have an “intrinsic” permanent magnetic dipole moment. There is no one-to-one analogy, as it is a pure quantum mechanical property with no classical counterpart. Meaning it should not be linked with classical picture in your brain, but taken as a basic property of nature.
