Hi, my name is Day, and in just eight months, my life has changed in ways I never imagined.

In February 2026, I was diagnosed with thyroblastoma thyroid cancer, an extremely rare cancer, after doctors found a tumor in my thyroid. I underwent surgery to remove the tumor, my thyroid, and the lymph nodes on the right side of my neck. From March through May, I received aggressive chemotherapy and radiation.

In May, I rang the bell, and in July 2026, I was told I was cancer-free. I finally began looking forward to my future and got engaged to the love of my life.

Then, on October 26, 2026, everything changed again. I was diagnosed with metastatic thyroblastoma cancer, meaning the cancer has spread to other areas of my body. I will begin treatment again next month, and my doctors are preparing me for the possibility that I may need ongoing treatment.

I’m scared and overwhelmed, but I still have faith. I fought before, and I will fight again.

Because my cancer is so rare, I will need to work with specialists experienced in treating rare cancers. Funds raised through this GoFundMe will help cover specialized medical care, treatment, transportation, rent, food, and other essential living expenses while I undergo treatment.

If you’re able to donate, no amount is too small. If you cannot donate, please share my story. Prayers, encouragement, and positive energy mean more to me than I can express.

To everyone who has supported me, thank you. Your love carried me through my first fight, and I need that support again.

Cancer came back—but so did my fight.

I beat this once, and with faith, treatment, and the love of my community, I believe I can beat it again.

With love, faith, and hope,
Day ❤️ #thyroblastomaawareness #thyroidcancer #wlw #support #charity LINK IS IN MY BIO 🙏🏾🥺 please tag below any potential support rare cancer treatment centers/ potential donors or media to help spread awareness!!! Long before the building became a public library, it was home to one of Chicago’s most unusual and talked about drinking spots. Known as the Midget Club, the tavern attracted plenty of attention and became a popular destination for people looking for something different from the city’s traditional nightlife. Now, rare footage offers a fascinating glimpse inside the bar and the atmosphere that once made it so memorable.

The footage comes from I Married a Munchkin, a film by Chicago filmmaker Tom Palazzolo. His work documented everyday life and some of the more unusual corners of the city, preserving scenes that might otherwise have disappeared from public memory. This particular footage gives viewers a chance to see the Midget Club as it actually looked while it was still operating.

The tavern eventually closed after the city acquired the property and the building was cleared to make way for a public library. The decision became controversial among people who believed the establishment had a place in the neighbourhood and questioned whether another location could have been used for the library instead.

Today, the footage serves as a reminder of how quickly familiar places can disappear as cities change and redevelop. Whether the library was worth the loss of the tavern is still an interesting question, especially for those who remember the Midget Club. Would you have saved the bar or supported the library?

IT’S A BOY!!! 🩵😭

My sweet miracle boy… you are everything we prayed for and more. The most beautiful reminder that God’s plans are always greater than our own.

The past few days have reminded me just how cruel this world can be. But no amount of hate could ever overshadow the joy of loving you. You are a MIRACLE.

My precious baby boy, your daddy and I will spend the rest of our lives protecting you, praying over you, and loving you beyond measure. We may not be able to shield you from every bit of darkness in this world, but we promise to raise you to be a LIGHT in it.
You are already our greatest blessing, our answered prayer, and the sweetest chapter of our lives.

God knew exactly what He was doing when He gave us YOU.

WE GET TO BE YOUR MOMMY AND DADDY!!! 🥹🩵
