This year’s birthday celebration was quite unique. Started with fun pre-celebrations with cherished friends/family, filled with love. Beyond that, with deeper thoughts about the meaning of it all, a birth day — a solar return, what do I celebrate?
I broke it all down to the things I love in life and grateful for, elements that make me who I am, in settings that inspire me the most.
I disengaged the autopilot and spent time reflecting on my journey and the person I’ve become. It was simple yet sophisticated, quite intentional and emotional.
I celebrated movement and mobility with a morning run in the park.
Enjoyed a delicious cup of coffee.
Dug and discovered new music.
Read a book about 50 things I need to know about AI, now.
Saw Do Ho Suh’s incredible Walk the House exhibit.
Sat in a park and did nothing.
Spent quality time with close friends.
Observed the world, experiencing pure childhood innocence and joy.
Honored the ever growing love and support in appreciation of my partner, Vika.
Watched an incredible Sunset.
Concluded with a delicious home cooked meal and an intimate gathering with dear friends.
And somehow through it all, in the middle of London, Teta was there watching.
It was all relative — In each of these moments, I grew a deeper gratitude for life, love, family, friends, and the human experience.
