👹The Transcendent Talent Show 👹

the aches in my body , soul , mind
the pain i see , hear , experience
the genocide , the starvation , the murder
the inaccessible health, physical , emotional care 
the denying of trans existence
the loss of families, friends, loved ones 
the hopelessness of power of voice, change , action of change
the aches in my body , soul , mind

This heaviness that fills a lot of individuals for generations
This attack from the government from the systems from the elected officials is not new 
This illusion that the government portrays on how little power we all hold, is not new.
This fight for change has never ended
This need for community healing , support , love has not withered away

Within cultivating this space for these transcending talents that feeds back into our community it was not only a means of coming together as a community to celebrate the space we hold, yet to mourn the people of our community who have been abducted, murdered, beaten, treated less than. To come together to use our voice, take up space to recharge the hope of power that we all hold individually and collectively. 

As a collective we were able to raise $1,400 to help our neighbors , loved ones , families; with financial gain towards mental , emotional , and physical resources.Our performers received $100+ to put towards their safety , care and livelihood. Our local non-profit, @comunidadesunidas , received $700 to put towards their resource hotline that supports Latine individuals with their livelihood , safety, and care. On top of financial aid there was love, acceptance , support , old/new connections that filled the space that we occupied on Shoshone, Paiute, Goshute, & Ute lands.

This event started off as a thought of art and transcended into a space of connection , power , and resilience. Everything that forms from my lens of living a queer life not through the yt colonized queer yet queerness to reduce harm.
