The USA will always be our second home. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έβ€οΈ My husband and children are American. We go back multiple times a year and I will always be proud to go back, even when people question why we would want to. We will continue to visit places like Wyoming and Florida, states with a long history of voting Republican, because guess what? That’s their democratic right too! I don’t have to agree with someone’s politics to respect their right to vote differently from me. I genuinely believe we have to lead with love rather than hate. Because if we start treating everyone with different political views as the enemy, what are we actually achieving? We’re just adding to the division. I’ve never hidden the fact that politics played a big part in our decision to leave America. We made the choice we felt was right for our children and their education. But leaving doesn’t mean we stopped loving the country. Far from it. And for those wondering why American politics matters to someone living in the UK, just look at the last decade. We’ve seen political movements and attitudes from America make their way across the Atlantic. What happens over there absolutely has an impact on what happens here. These historic wins are huge for America, but I also think they send a message to the rest of the world. You can love a country and still want better for it. You can disagree with someone’s politics and still respect them. And you can celebrate progress without wishing ill on those who think differently. More love, less hate. Always. ❀️ Our wedding day. The day after i landed in the usa - 5 months pregnant. A small registry office in New Hampshire where people were registering their cars next to me. The lovely lady who worked there printed off some vows for us and we went into the back office. We went for lobster rolls after and then i had a nap. We met though living in the UAE. Kyle was in Abu Dhabi doing a time out there with the US Marines and I worked for Emirates. We met 2 weeks into his trip and the Marine Ball was only a few weeks after. I had no bloody clue what I was doing Kyle went back to the usa and I decided to stay in Dubai until my K1 visa came, plus a little

True friendships are precious and genuine friends are rare. You don't have to see each other all the time or talk every single day. What matters is knowing that you can always count on one another, no matter what. This is @sofiaberg.ai . And I couldn't be happier that she has come to visit me here at this beautiful old country house. Spending time together, sharing conversations, laughing and simply enjoying each other's company. That's what truly matters. ❀️

my first time choreographing solo at wenzdays, and my first time choreographing/teaching in KOREA!!! i’ve never really thought of myself as a choreographer. after retiring from directing @samahangmodern, i think i made only 3 pieces in the 2.5 years before this as an organizer and producer, it’s been even easier to put myself in a box and limit what i think i’m capable of this experience was healing in so many ways, and I can’t even speak to how much of an honor it was to create in the space after @ian_eastwood @larkinpoynton @rosathomford @jimmyreallly…. legends and giants fr WENZDAYS has truly democratized the choreography process and im going to work endlessly to make sure more and more people get to feel this feeling 🫢 thank you to @wenzdays_iykyk, @j2_y0on, @yoozinooo, @chang.__.ing, @gaexxn, @haenihaenihaeni for the trust and for the hard work of curating such a special space. @ian_eastwood you already know anyways, many more pieces to come… maybe even one this wenzday?? πŸ‘€
