HISTORY MADE ✊🇮🇹

Comment "HIGHER" to get this guide.

People at the AI labs keep saying we're not ambitious enough with AI.

That's hard to act on, so most of us keep asking Claude to tidy an email and leave it there.

Felix Rieseberg, an engineering lead on Claude at Anthropic, just published a free tutorial that turns that advice into steps you can follow.

Think of it like this: you're writing the brief a top consultant would write, then letting Claude pull in a whole team to deliver it.

1. Pick a task you'd normally hand to AI, like a quarterly review deck.

2. Raise the altitude by telling Claude the outcome you really want, the goal sitting behind the task.

3. Go deeper by asking it to work like a leading professional, starting from the raw data.

4. Set a target that sounds unreasonable and tell Claude it's solvable.

5. Widen the range by having Claude borrow methods from other fields, like an editor or a forensic accountant.

6. Check the result with an outside judge, ideally a tool Claude can run.

What makes it different? It comes from someone who builds Claude every day, and each section comes with prompts you can copy into your next chat.

- Four types of ambition: speed, altitude, depth and range
- A worked example built around a quarterly business review
- A reusable prompt that rewrites your request into a deeper version
