Donya Solaimani

It’s finally happening: I’m proud and excited to announce the release of my Debut EP Feast on September 26th.

Feast consists of four songs and merges influences from minimal music, jazz, and pop, but also traditional Iranian music and poetry together to create a musical world that is deeply personal, yet highly relatable at the same time.

A lot of love and dedication went into making this little record. I’m so grateful that I got to work with some incredible people:

@jan__philipp production, recording & drums
@annie.bloch keys
@ferdischwarz trumpet
@pascalklewer trumpet, production (track 4)

mix @jan__philipp
master @alexklossmastering

cover photography @documentembela
artwork @parissacharghi

Recorded in Cologne and Copenhagen, with funds from @stadt.koeln and @initiativemusik

Feast will be available as a limited edition CD, on bandcamp and via streaming.

This is a huge step for me, emotionally and spiritually - I’ll share more about that process very soon.
