8 months ago"Grieving the life that could have been." I've never heard it said this precisely and it stopped me completely. As a queer South Asian woman I know this grief intimately not one loud moment of loss but a quiet, ongoing mourning for the version of yourself that was never allowed to exist. The strength people see isn't the absence of that grief. It's learning to carry it and live fully anyway. Sending you so much love. 🖤
