This week I went to lunch with a friend I first met online.

And as we sat across from each other, I couldn’t help but pause and reflect on just how powerful technology and social media really are.

We’re living in a time where we can meet people we were destined to cross paths with… with such ease.

She shared how she had recently started a new business through a series of synchronistic events. A business perfectly aligned with her background and expertise.

And as I listened, I was reminded of the beauty of what happens when we surrender to the path already written for us.

✨ The ease she described as her business took off (alignment will do that).
✨ The way her expertise shone through in how she cares for her clients.
✨ The conviction she holds for excellence, not settling for the quick sale, but building something meaningful.

Not just a business.
A legacy.

I share this because it struck me: success rarely comes from chasing shortcuts.
It comes from embodying the qualities that compound over time, conviction, discipline, integrity, and excellence.

And it was a gift to witness all of that reflected back to me over a simple lunch.
