September 2 @i.m.kcb and I landed in Nice, France with our bikes. We explored the city and it’s culinary and Mediterranean delights for a week with my dad, sister and brother in law. On September 9 we boarded a ferry that took us to Porto Vecchio, Corsica. We began a cycling journey from here that lead us across the north coast and down the west coast of Sardinia. In that time we have cycled ~330 miles (500km) and climbed ~18,000 feet (5,500 meters). I never knew much about the islands until the rubber hit the pavement. This morning we arrived by ferry to Palermo, Sicily where we will continue our journey.
