Riding consistently for 6 years now and only been pulled twice. Once was a mate being stupid and the other was me doing the obligatory rev through a tunnel. Cop wasn't happy but legal plate, baffle in and fully legit so just got a telling off.

24 Police Officers Attached to Presidential Villa Appeal to pres. Tinubu Over Nine Months Unpaid Allowances

Twenty-four personnel of the Police Mobile Force (PMF) attached to the Press Escorts Unit at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, have appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene over the alleged non-payment of their allowances for nine consecutive months.

According to Sahara Reporters, the aggrieved officers made the appeal in a petition addressed to President Tinubu, lamenting that they had been denied their allowances despite performing the same duties as colleagues who reportedly receive theirs.

The officers said the situation had placed them under serious financial pressure, leaving them struggling to cater for their families, pay house rent and cover transportation costs to work.

In their petition, they stated:
“We are here to write on behalf of some 24 PMF personnel, Press Escorts Villa, Abuja. We have not received allowance for the past nine months, which some of our colleagues are collecting, and we did the same work.”

Speaking about the hardship caused by the alleged non-payment, they added:

“We have families, relatives and children to take care of, but no allowance for a period of nine months. We are suffering, paying transportation to work and paying for house rent, which we depend on the allowance to do.”

The personnel further appealed to the Federal Government to look into their complaint and settle the outstanding payments without further delay.

Concluding their appeal, they said:
“We are pleading with the government to consider our complaint and pay us our outstanding nine months’ allowance.”
