This one was SPECIAL!! 🥂 Grateful is an understatement. Thank you to everyone who showed up and celebrated me. For the first time, I had the opportunity to celebrate my birthday with my mom, brothers, and cousins all under one roof. That alone made this one unforgettable. Truly a blessing. And damn, we had a GOOD time! 😂 It’s never about the QUANTITY of people… it’s about the QUALITY in the room. 🤞🏿 Special thank you to ACE OF SPADES × RÉMY MARTIN for the collaboration that took the evening up a notch and made it a CLASSIC. 🥂 And to @thymeatl, thank you for always making your restaurant feel like home. Always a pleasure. YEAR 42. 💫 FIN. 🎬 (OH & NEVER MISS @magiccity ON A MONDAY 😂😂) Thank you & credits: - Suit by @connaisseurparis - Music by: @yfnlucci x @richforever - DJs: @gocrazytonee x @djyungfro259 - Venue: @thymeatl - Cake by: @msdanadxo - Event Decor: @realtorkikiadams - Sponsorship: @cindafreknrella @jolon.martin @eventnoirehq @partiert @bayabgin @remymartin - Signage/Backdrop: @richie1rich - Video: @@The2nineteen

5 things I believe we should do more often: 1️⃣ BE A BEGINNER AGAIN! Try a dance class. Learn a language. Pick up something you’re terrible at! You don’t have to be good at everything to enjoy it. Give yourself permission to learn. 2️⃣ PUT YOURSELF IN YOUR CALENDAR! We make time for appointments, work and everyone else’s needs. Schedule something just for YOU this week. A walk, a quiet breakfast, an afternoon with no obligations. Your time matters too. 3️⃣ STOP SAVING THINGS FOR “ONE DAY”! Wear the beautiful outfit. Use the special perfume. Book dinner with your friends. An ordinary Tuesday is a perfectly good occasion. 4️⃣ NOTICE WHO MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOURSELF! Who can you laugh with? Who listens? Who gets excited about your ideas? Make more time for those people — and be that person for them, too. 5️⃣ CHANGE ONE “I CAN’T” INTO “I’LL TRY”! “I can’t wear that.” “I’m too old to start.” Sometimes we’ve repeated a rule for so long that we forget to question it. Start with one small thing you’ve been talking yourself out of. I don’t know exactly what my next chapter will look like. But I want to have a say in how it’s written. 💕 💬 What’s something you’d still love to try? Tell me below! ✅ SAVE this for the next time you catch yourself saying “I’m too old.” 🔁 SHARE it with a woman you’d love to try something new with. 👉 FOLLOW ME for fashion, confidence and a little encouragement to go for it.
I said I wasn’t sleepy. Five minutes later… 😴🤍
