For many decades now countries all over the world have used “Metarhizium anisopliae” to mitigate CRB and manage mulch, compost and green waste. Metarhizium Anisopliae is a naturally occurring, insect-pathogenic fungus found in soils worldwide and is very effective at killing crb larvae in breeding sites like mulch. It’s commonly called green muscardine fungus because of the green spores it produces. This is a time proven solution to lower CRB populations and prevent mulch and green waste from becoming breeding sites for these famine beetles.
