There aren't enough words and I definitely didn't take enough photos or videos, but today I love a wonderfully blessed life is an understatement. Such an amazing weekend with friends old and new and even those who weren't able to be here with us were there.

The Finnish Ice Hockey Association 🇫🇮 is in talks with other national federations to form a bloc against Russia 🇷🇺 returning to IIHF competition! ❌ Translated Article ⬇️ The decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Friday, October 30, triggered an extensive process. In Finland and many other member federations of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), efforts began to identify all possible means to keep Russia—which is currently waging a war of aggression—out of World Championship tournaments. Over the weekend, the Finnish Ice Hockey Association has been in active contact with other IIHF member federations. This cooperation and dialogue will continue intensively throughout the coming week. «We are currently working to bring as many countries as possible into a united front to inform the IIHF that none of us will play against Russia under the current circumstances. This carries significantly more weight than if we were to make such a statement on our own,» says Heikki Hietanen, Chairman of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association. In its meeting on Monday evening, the Board of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association decided to keep all available options on the table to resolve the matter. Any decisions will be made based on careful preparation, available legal information, and the overall best interests of the Finnish ice hockey community. “Our stance is that we will not play against Russia as long as the war of aggression against Ukraine continues,” says Hietanen. A two-day meeting of the IIHF Council began on Monday, November 2, with the issue concerning Russia as the primary topic. “It is the IIHF’s responsibility to provide information about the meeting once it has concluded.
