Bandcamp Friday is back. And we also have a new release...
People’s People present the Spirit of David is out, massive reissue of community jazz from Oakland!
ukvibe.org/album_reviews/peoples-people/
“In an era marked by turmoil and uncertainty, The Spirit of David offers a rare kind of solace and uplift—music as a healing balm for the mind and soul. Its powerful blend of spiritual jazz and communal intent serves as a reminder that art can be a vital source of strength. As Jeff Jones himself might prescribe: “Take this medication for anxiety, fatigue, despair, loneliness—dosage: one to three times daily.””
Also, Rejoice!
Everyone needs great music in their lives, especially in these challenging times. And so Rush Hour has lowered the price for the reissue of this fantastic South African jazz-funk album by Spirits Rejoice from 1978. This music might help calm your mind but it will also make you dance and rejoice! Go get yourself a copy!

Amazing album. Praying some more copies become available somehow (I’m in Wales)! Guessing it must have been a pretty limited pressing?

Darn I was hoping to order but can't since not shipping to the US. Will more be added soon?
