Hi !!! 👋🏼

For those who are new here, I’m Kendall, an award-winning Australian underwater photographer, videographer, content creator and conservation storyteller based on the east coast of Australia. My work revolves heavily around working with sharks and I specialise in shark photography. 🦈

My journey started around six years ago with a random snorkel at a local beach. I was going through a difficult time when I encountered my first tiger shark. It gracefully swam past, completely uninterested in me but that one encounter changed everything.

Until then, I’d only known sharks through movies and the media. Seeing one in its natural environment was peaceful, humbling and completely shifted my perspective.

I had no idea that one morning would eventually shape my career and take me around the world including living on Shark Island (Fuvahmulah).

Fast forward to today...

I’ve gone from teaching myself underwater photography to working alongside incredible marine wildlife and conservation projects. I’ve spent time living in Fuvahmulah

I now work closely with @discovery, am partnered with brands including @scubapro, @insta360, @tamronaus, @mareluxco @faderwetsuits and travelled internationally photographing sharks and marine wildlife.

I’ve also co-founded @sharksearchfoundation, a shark research and conservation organisation focused on photo identification and education, as well as @odysea.encounters.

I’m now working alongside researchers and conservationists on projects including white shark research with @rodneyfoxsharkexpeditions, while developing new conservation initiatives and documentary opportunities (stay tuned 👀🎬).

But beyond the photographs, partnerships and expeditions, my purpose remains the same.

I want to replace fear with fascination, misconceptions with understanding. And inspire more people to care about those animals that most don’t care about.

The ocean gave me direction when I needed it most. Now, I want to spend my life giving something back.
