In my Sweet Spot column @guardianfeast today (also online)- toffee apple handpies for Bonfire (or Any) Night. I've used shop-bought pastry here but there's an excellent recipe for rough puff in my book if you want to make your own. Ps. Don't be lazy like me here- dip the tines of your fork in flour when crimping!
It’s day 1 of daylight savings, and also day 1 of being an empty nester, prepping for an off-the-grid winter 🪵, making progress on furniture refinishing, and figuring out what’s next… all served with a side of exhaustion from a weary traveller.

What is your favorite Neon 40 color? ✨ I love all black outfits with black tights, but I think there are better color choices for Neon 40 nylons. Which one should I get next? 🤭 Luckily it’s so warm here on my vacation that I only need nylons in the morning and evening. During the day I enjoy a little bit sun on my skin ☀️
