Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal (Praise be to Allah in every circumstance).
Two years ago, we took a leap of faith, trusting in a love that felt divinely guided. @onlyeein asked for my hand, knowing my journey to Islam was still my own to walk. It was a path I had been curious about for years, and his beautiful patience and sincere duas were a beacon.
On the train home one day, I asked him if I had to convert to marry him. He said yes. But it was never an ultimatum, it was an invitation to a shared life of faith. And Alhamdulillah, Allah SWT, the turner of hearts, granted me His hidayah on 17th June 2023. He answered my husband's prayers, and in doing so, answered mine too.
This union is the fruit of that faith. We are so grateful for everyone who helped us celebrate this blessed day.
