Very disappointing experience – beware of hidden fees After paying all fees in full on the website, we were confronted at the hotel and told we must pay an additional charge called a “Destination Fee.” The manager, Dustin, personally handled the situation and was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. I showed him all confirmation emails and receipts clearly stating that there would be no additional charges, but he refused to acknowledge this. He told us either we pay the fee or the reservation would be canceled, which felt like pure pressure and intimidation. In addition, we paid for breakfast for three people, but the hotel only allowed breakfast for two, refusing to honor what we had already paid for. No proper explanation or solution was offered. We were also told that Wi-Fi is free in the room, but in reality it did not work at all. When we called the front desk, they claimed that Wi-Fi works on “some devices and not on others,” which is completely unacceptable. We tried multiple phones and a laptop, and none of them worked. To make matters worse, Sean, the supervisor, lied to me during the process, providing false information instead of actually helping to resolve the situation. The service was terrible from start to finish. This hotel feels like a complete scam, misleading guests and trying to squeeze extra money out of people who come to enjoy their vacation. Absolutely awful hotel. Avoid this place at all costs.
