so excited to share the finished work for my friend @ornamentidoro's new album, CAMPO DE AGRAMANTE.
gus is one of my oldest online friends - we met in the early 2000s on an internet forum dedicated to one of our favorite bands, Cocteau Twins. while we've never had the opportunity to meet in person, i'm so grateful for so many years of sweet friendship, celebrating one another's creative projects, and sharing musical recommendations! (i think i was 18 when we met, and i'm 40 now!)
the idea to work together on album art came up a few years ago, and it was early in 2025 that things started to really come together for a new project. it has been so incredible to hear his project through a few stages, and the artwork represents a visual manifestation of how the album sounds to me!
you can find the album on @mundiscos bandcamp!
the first slide is the collage only, which was made entirely with analog methods
the second slide is the final album art, which combines the analog paper artwork with a textural digital background
the remaining slides are detail views of the artwork
congratulations to @ornamentidoro on the release of the new album! so happy we got to work together! ❤️
