Negotiation isn’t the art of compromise, it’s the science of refusing to let anyone be left behind.
This principle guided me as I had the honor of representing Lebanon at the COP30 Simulation in Egypt, held under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth & Sports, and the Just Transition Lab.
The Just Transition Lab isn’t just another policy forum, it’s where climate diplomacy is stress-tested against justice, where data meets dignity, and where young negotiators learn that transition without inclusion is just another form of extraction.
I’ll keep posting about it because some milestones deserve more than one frame.
