We canā€™t begin to explain the emotional rollercoaster weā€™ve been on for the past two weeks. Weā€™ve always been in awe of the Bauers and the grace, strength and resolve theyā€™ve shown over the past two years. But seeing them firsthand in the courtroom, fighting for Christaā€™s babies has opened up our eyes in a way words canā€™t adequately describe. Over the past two weeks weā€™ve seen the Bauers raked over the coals, again and again, simply for doing whatā€™s in the best interest of Christaā€™s children. The fact that they have always put the kids interests first took a backseat for the other side. Because they didnā€™t like HOW the Bauers did it. But on October 30th, a jury of 12 incredible people unanimously decided what we all have known to be true for the past two years: that the children should remain in the Bauersā€™ care, surrounded by the love, stability, and community they have known since their whole world fell apart. šŸ’œ We are so grateful to the jury, who saw through the darkness and chose the light. We are thankful for the lawyers who broke out into sobs along side us when the verdict was read, who worked so hard for these kids and this family, and who have put their own lives on hold to fight for whatā€™s right. And we are so grateful for the community near and far who have showed up time and time again for this incredible family, who should never have been faced with this battle to begin with. On Friday night we turned a corner. We were reminded that among heartbreak, hope and goodness remains. Among darkness there can be light. And that truth and goodness always prevail. The fight for justice is far from over. But this is an enormous leap forward. #ForChrista #JusticeForChrista

you sure about that, @stephenasmith?
