The Free Palestine Tour is my favorite thing I’ve ever been a part of. I am still overwhelmed with gratitude and awe for every musician who stepped on stage in London. Every speaker. Every person who chose to be there. We live in an era where advocating for Palestinian life and freedom is controversial. Where saying that Palestine should be free, that Palestinians deserve the same dignity, safety and rights as everyone else, can come at a cost. The tour served as a reaffirmation that when we collectively use our voices, our stages and our platforms to stand for the freedom of others, something profound happens. And the crowd is just as much a part of that as the artists. We all are. When we move beyond the fear of “how will this affect my career?” and center collective liberation, something shifts. Love is found. And that feeling of love was abundant in London. I can still feel it in my body. After five of the most intense weeks, reaching out to artists, organizing, dealing with logistics and constant meetings, it felt like we could all finally exhale. There is so much work to do. The march is long. But this felt like a beautiful step toward rekindling something in all of our hearts. Thank you to all the artists and speakers that said yes. And thank you to everyone that bought a ticket and supported. I feel honored to have shared that experience with you all. What a beautiful outcome. ❤️✨
Your fave Taiwanese boy just made his runway debut in India—for the Indian couture house I adore most, @abhinavmishra_ ✨🙏🏽🫱🏽‍🫲🏼✨ Here are a few behind-the-scenes moments to share with you all. ❤️ Each time I return, India draws me deeper into its magic. I’ve watched it unfold, fallen under its spell, and carried traces of it home. This time, through “Into the Wild”, I found myself written into a story alive with wonder. It began with an owl’s hoot, as though the forest had been invited to wake. Birds answered beneath the stags’ branching antlers; ferns unfurled, and even the moss seemed to draw a deeper breath. In the shadows, creatures gathered while pixies slipped through the leaves, flirting, scattering golden dust and whispering, “All your dreams could come true.” And the music rose. One by one, the forest’s boys and girls emerged, draped in colour and magic, carrying its treasures: jewels at their brows, little wings gleaming at the boys’ ears. Warriors in black and silver moved among goddesses. Then gold thread caught the light as I stepped onto the runway, rippling across my clothes like lines from an ancient spellbook. With every step, I felt taller, as though India’s magic were lifting me towards the stars. I felt the fabric brush against my skin, the music settle into my stride. In my hand, the little golden bag transformed into an enchanted instrument, awaiting the first note of a song only the forest knew. That song had begun long before the lights came on: in the rhythm of a needle, in knowledge passed from hand to hand, in the patience behind every glimmer. Here was true luxury with its memory intact: India telling its own story, in its own name, with heritage alive in every stitch and an imagination no single runway could contain. I hope some of the light I wore reaches you, reminds you of your own, and travels further through the lives you touch. May it give you a little more courage to turn the dreams you carry into the life you live.
