Instagram really said, “What if you never had to relight your diyas again?” 😭🪔 And obviously, I had to investigate. Apparently, there’s a viral hack doing the rounds where people use nail paint on diya battis to supposedly keep them from blowing out in the wind. Sounds genius? Sounds questionable? I had QUESTIONS. 😂 So here’s me putting the internet’s latest Diwali discovery under the spotlight. Because if there’s one thing I don’t want to be doing on Diwali, it’s running around relighting 25 diyas every five minutes. Would you have believed this hack? 👀 Save this for your Diwali prep, but please don’t try burning nail polish or adhesives on a wick. They’re not designed for this use and can pose a fire and fume hazard. 🪔 Wearing: @vaanibeswalcalcutta #DiwaliHacks #DiyaHack #DiwaliPrep #DiwaliDecor #FestiveFinds (Shaurya Sanadhya, Shubh Diwali With Shaurya, Diwali hacks, viral Diwali hacks, diya decoration ideas, Diwali preparation, Diwali home decor, diya batti, festive hacks, Diwali DIY ideas.)

Democrat Xavier Becerra, a former longtime congressman and President Joe Biden’s health secretary, is projected to be the next governor of California, according to the Associated Press. The victory makes Becerra the first Latino to lead California in more than 150 years. He defeated Republican Steve Hilton, a British-born former Fox News host and political adviser.
🚨 NEW JERSEY, WE NEED YOU! SABRINA NEEDS YOU! 🚨 SHE’S FIGHTING FOR HER LIFE. WE’RE FIGHTING FOR HER JUSTICE. Sabrina was found tied up and abandoned in Weehawken, NJ. She was so severely emaciated you could see every rib and every vertebra. She’s still hospitalized, fighting to recover from the effects of starvation. Emil Bustamante of Union City, NJ, has been identified in connection with the case. According to information shared about the case, he’s facing a disorderly persons offense and was issued a court summons. A SUMMONS. WHILE SABRINA FIGHTS TO SURVIVE. ⚖️ WE NEED YOUR VOICES! Ask the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office to thoroughly review Sabrina’s case, examine the veterinary evidence, and consider whether more serious animal cruelty charges are warranted under New Jersey law. 📞 CALL 201-795-6400 📧 EMAIL hcpo@hcpo.org 📁 REFERENCE CASE #26-39353 We’ve put together two simple scripts, one for calling and one for emailing. Be respectful. Be factual. Be unwavering in your demand for accountability. ⚖️ WILL YOU SHOW UP FOR SABRINA? Her reported hearing is Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 1 PM at Weehawken Municipal Court, NJ. Please confirm the schedule before attending and stand with us peacefully and respectfully. Sabrina can’t walk into that courtroom and tell her story. We can show up and make sure it’s heard. We’ve seen too many dogs suffer in silence. Enough is enough. CALL. EMAIL. SHARE. SHOW UP. 🐾 BE HER VOICE. JUSTICE FOR SABRINA!
