![Pajak digital yang melibatkan bank dan fintech mulai ramai diperbincangkan. Kebijakan ini dikaitkan dengan pemungutan Pajak Pertambahan Nilai (PPN) atas transaksi digital dari luar negeri.
Melalui Sistem Pemungutan Pajak atas Transaksi Digital Luar Negeri (SPP-TDLN), sejumlah layanan seperti langganan streaming, pembelian aplikasi berbayar, penyimpanan cloud, hingga konten digital bisa menjadi objek PPN jika memenuhi ketentuan.
Namun, bukan berarti semua aktivitas digital otomatis kena pajak. Transfer antarbank, kirim uang, hingga top up e-wallet tidak serta-merta dikenakan PPN melalui mekanisme ini.
Perlu diketahui, SPP-TDLN bukan jenis pajak baru maupun kenaikan tarif PPN. Sistem yang diatur dalam PMK Nomor 49 Tahun 2026 ini sudah diterapkan sejak 25 September 2026 untuk membantu pemungutan PPN atas transaksi digital luar negeri.
